Douglas Campbell formed Campbell Real Estate Advisory Group, Inc. (“Campbell Group”) in 2005.

Campbell Group was created to represent a select clientele in a very specialized niche of the Commercial Real Estate Industry – The representation of the Tenant-Client and entities with their corporate real estate initiatives.

Mr. Campbell served as Executive Director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Commercial Group in South Florida, having been associated with the firm since 1984.  During his tenure with Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Campbell was the most productive commercial broker for Cushman & Wakefield in South Florida.

He graduated with honors from the University of Puget Sound and completed graduate work at the University of Washington and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.  Mr. Campbell served in the U.S. Army Special Forces (“Green Berets”) and graduated from JFK Special Warfare and Leadership School at Ft. Bragg, N.C.

In his 20 years with Cushman & Wakefield, and now as the leader of Campbell Group, Mr. Campbell specializes in the representation of the office space occupier client, to include Corporate Services Initiatives as well as Tenant Representation.  Then, and now, he consistently receives recognition – corporately, locally, and nationally – for his expertise and proactive representation of the corporate real estate user.  The result of Mr. Campbell’s wide range of experience, in the representation of the tenant-client, accounts for the taking of over 7,000,000 square feet of prime office space on a local, national and international basis.

In 1977 Mr. Campbell founded the Miami Learning Experience School, a non-profit school for students with intellectual disabilities from birth through adulthood.  Today the Miami Learning Experience School has a student population of approximately 150 and a staff of 40 special education professionals.

Darren Campbell began his career in commercial real estate in 2005 when he joined Douglas Campbell and Campbell Real Estate Advisory Group (“Campbell Group”).

In his 15 years in the Commercial Real Estate Industry, Mr. Campbell has held various leadership positions and has specialized in the representation of the Tenant-Client and companies with their corporate real estate initiatives.

To broaden his platform of industry knowledge and sharpen business acumen, Mr. Campbell accepted a position of Vice President when recruited by DTZ in 2013 to open and lead the Miami brokerage office. In 2015 DTZ purchased Cushman & Wakefield (“C&W”) and Mr. Campbell became a Director with C&W. During his tenure with DTZ and Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Campbell was responsible for representing Tenant-Clients within the context of several of the largest office space lease transactions to occur in South Florida.

Large commercial real estate companies such as DTZ / Cushman & Wakefield, CBRE, JLL, etc. prefer to represent property owners and landlords rather than tenants. Revenues are significantly larger in those landlord representations. For the professional who specializes in occupier representation, it creates a total conflict of fiduciary. Thus, Darren Campbell reverted to Campbell Group after having been with DTZ / Cushman & Wakefield for 10 years.

Mr. Campbell holds a Master’s of Business Administration with an emphasis in Project Management. Additionally, Mr. Campbell was awarded commercial real estate’s most prestigious designation, the Master of Corporate Real Estate, by CoreNet Global. Mr. Campbell was only one of 37 global corporate real estate executives to earn the MCR in 2017. The MCR program provides essential skills focused upon critical business issues and reflects strategic competence and successful experience as a corporate real estate specialist.

In 2009, Mr. Campbell was awarded The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s – Leadership Miami Community Service Award, and currently is on the Board of Directors for Miami Bridge, the only 24 /7 shelter in Miami- Dade for at-risk youth.
